New CEO at Sjöbergs Workbenches AB

After 33 years in the company, Jan Möllefors is now handing over the role of CEO to Anders Olsson.

“Anders Olsson has been with us for one year as Deputy CEO and Export Manager and knows the company and its customers well. I have a good feeling about this and I’m convinced that we’ve found the very best successor to continue developing Sjöbergs and take the company into the future,” says Jan Mölllefors.

Jan Mölllefors’ 33 years with the company has been a fantastic journey, one in which he took part in developing Sjöbergs.
“I began work at Sjöbergs as a truck driver and ended up as CEO and owner,” says Jan Möllefors.
“Johan Sjöberg and I bought the company in 2006 and since then we’ve had the privilege of leading the company and its fantastic employees. Now it’s time for me to retire, and I’m sure I’ll have no difficulty keeping busy with other activities. I’ll remain a partner in the company and will stay on the board moving forward,” concludes Jan.

It’s full speed ahead at Sjöbergs Workbenches after a very strong order intake during the first half of the year. As a result, the company is now planning to expand its production facilities in Stockaryd.

“As Deputy CEO for the past year, I became acquainted with our customers and our dedicated employees, a very positive experience and important for my taking on the new role.We’re in an exciting growth phase and much of our business today is done on the internet through e-commerce. We will strengthen our online presence and continue the digitisation journey we’ve begun. Here I’ll be able to contribute with my extensive experience from both the IT and furniture industries,” concludes Anders Olsson.
